Food stores in the province of Oran committed to working on Wednesday, the second day of Eid al-Adha, according to what was observed in various streets of the city.
The merchants opened their shops to meet the needs of citizens, with the exception of a number of vegetable and fruit sellers in the main markets of the city of Oran, such as the markets of the “Al-Hamri” neighborhood, the “Ain Al-Bayda” neighborhood and the “Aures” street.
Most of the bakers and merchants of general foodstuffs on duty on the second day of the feast ensured a regular supply of bread and foodstuffs of wide consumption, as is observed in many neighborhoods of the city of Oran.
Some citizens expressed their satisfaction with the opening of a number of bakers in some neighborhoods in the town of Ain al-Bayda, al-Sania, and al-Yasmeen neighborhood in the municipality of Bir al-Jir and the neighborhood of “Ibnou Rochd” (HLM), even grocery stores and others who are ensuring services in cafes and butchers at the exception of fruits and vegetables shops on this second day of Eid.
It has been noted that during the second day of the feast, services of gas stations and pharmacies were ensured in various neighborhoods of the city of Oran, with the provision of transportation, especially by tramway, urban buses, and taxis.
It is worth noting that there is a discrepancy in ensuring services from one neighborhood to another and from one municipality to another.
