The central and western provinces of the country will be affected a severe heat wave on Saturday and Sunday, with degrees ranging between 44 and 46 degrees, according to a special bulletin issued by the National Office of Meteorology.
The special bulletin, which was classified as “orange”, indicated that the provinces concerned are: Ain Temouchent, Oran, Mostaganem, Tipaza, the capital, Boumerdes, where the temperature will range between 40 to 42 degrees.
The bulletin also concerns the provinces of Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbes, Mascara, Relizane, Chlef, Ain Defla, where the temperature will range between 44 to 46 degrees.
