The Sonelgaz complex announced, today, Wednesday, in a statement, the strengthening of the national electricity transmission network with two high-voltage lines, starting from the wilaya of Khenchela, within the framework of expanding and developing the electricity transmission network, especially the link between the east and the south.
The statement indicated that in order to benefit from the energy produced at the new station in Khenchela, the national electricity transmission network was strengthened by entering into service last Monday two high-voltage lines of 400 kilovolts.
In this regard, the complex clarified that the entry of these two lines into service falls within the framework of “strengthening the national electricity network, while benefiting from all the energy produced from the generation stations thanks to this new interconnection in the national electrical system.”
