The government examined, today, Wednesday, during its meeting chaired by Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, AïmaneBenabderrahmane,projects aimed at alleviating traffic congestion in the capital.
During the meeting, “the Minister of Public Works made a presentation on alleviating traffic congestion in the capital, which included restructuring projects that would reduce traffic congestion on the two main axes of the East motorway and the Southern ring road, according to traffic development expectations,” according to a statement of the Prime Minister’s services.
In this context, various alternatives were presented to expand the capacities of these hubs “by resorting to the best options at the technical level,” the same source adds.
An evaluation presentation was also made on the progress of projects that have already been launched during the past two months, according to the statement.
