The Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Abderrachid Tebbi, installed today, Wednesday, a working group tasked with making proposals to adapt procedural and substantive legal provisions to the economic reality, especially with regard to decriminalizing the act of management, according to a statement by the Ministry.
The statement indicated that this working group includes “judges from the Supreme Court, senior officials, researchers, university professors and specialized lawyers, notably in the field of business law and business criminal law.”
During the meeting – the source adds – Tebbi handed over to the members of the working group, “the message that includes the mission assigned to them and the main axes of the subject of works, with the possibility of suggesting any measures that serve the efforts of the public authorities and the preoccupation of managers and local officials related to adapting legal provisions to economic reality.”
Earlier, the Minister of Justice announced the formation of the aforementioned work group on the occasion of the opening of the 2021-2022 judicial year, on October 24, and it is expected that the group will deliver the results of its work within one month.
