The President of the Republic: Lifting obstacles from 57 investment projects that were suspended for administrative reasons

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, revealed, today, Saturday, in Algiers, that obstacles had been lifted from 57 projects out of 402 stalled investment projects, despite their readiness, for administrative reasons.

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, explained during a speech he delivered at the opening of the national conference on industrial recovery, that the lifting of the freeze on these projects took place in “very short” circumstances, which “raises the question about the real reasons behind these obstacles.”

In this context, he stressed that disrupting projects ready to be launched for bureaucratic reasons constitutes a “crime against the economy” carried out by people “defending suspicious interests with political backgrounds.”

The President of the Republic added that it is unreasonable to freeze projects due to administrative licenses despite the investment of billions in their implementation, which is considered an “unpatriotic act.”
