The President of the Republic of Uganda, Mr. Yoweri Museveni, received on Sunday in Algiers the Prime Minister, Mr. Aïmene Benabderrahmane, who paid him a courtesy visit.
Earlier, the Ugandan President had a private meeting with the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, at the headquarters of the Presidency, which was later expanded to include members of the delegations of the two countries.
The two Presidents also presided over the signing ceremony of two agreements and five memorandums of understanding in several areas of bilateral cooperation.
President Museveni arrived in Algeria on Saturday for a state visit that will last until Tuesday, at the invitation of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
