The President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, received a courtesy visit from the President of the Council of the Nation, Salah Goudjil, on Sunday in Algiers.
Prior to this, Museveni had a private discussion with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune at the Presidential headquarters, which was later expanded to include members of both delegations.
The two Presidents presided over the signing of two agreements and five memorandums of understanding in various fields of bilateral cooperation.
Museveni’s state visit to Algeria will continue until Tuesday, at the invitation of President Tebboune.
