UN Spokesman, Stephane Dujarric, affirmed that the United Nations Mission in Libya is establishing contact with all Libyan stakeholders to ensure the organization of comprehensive and credible elections on December 24, in accordance with the road map and resolutions of the UN Security Council.
Dujarric added, during statements to the press, yesterday, Saturday relayed by the Libyan News Agency – that the United Nations will provide all aspects of technical support to the Libyan Electoral Commission in several broad areas, including communication with decision makers and opinion makers, and providing technical advice and assistance as required.
