The units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army carried out attacks targeting the Moroccan occupation forces’ entrenchment in the Farsiya sector, according to Military Statement No. 570 issued by the Sahrawi Ministry of Defense, on Tuesday.
The statement – which was reported by the Saharawi Press Agency – indicated that the Sahrawi army units “bombarded the enrenchment of the Moroccan occupation forces, in the Ross Oudiat al-Shadeeda region and in the Ross-Lakesibine region, in the Farsiya sector.”
Advance detachments of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army also focused their attacks targeting the positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Hawza and Mahbas sectors, and in the areas of Fidrah Laghrab, Fedrat Al-Ish, Laakd, Akkrarat Al-Farsik, Sebkhat Tanushad and Wadi Al-Dhamran.
The statement indicated that the Moroccan occupation forces incurred “heavy losses in lives and equipment” along the separation wall.
