The Algerian cycling team (seniors/women) won the team time trial of the 2021 Arab Bike Festival, which started on Sunday in Egypt.
The race took place over 36 kilometers where the national team completed the distance in 51 minutes, 43 seconds and 37 hundredths, ahead of the United Arab Emirates, which came second with a time of 58 minutes, 38 seconds and 17 hundredths.
The national selection (seniors/women) competed in this race with a quartet composed of: Nesrine Houili, Chahra Azzouz, Hanine Belatrous and Yamna Bouyagour.
For its part, the Algerian junior team (men) will compete this Sunday afternoon, also by taking part in the team time trial too. A 56 kilometers race in which Ayoub Ferkous, Khaled Mansouri, Abdelkrim Ferkous and Salah-Eddine Al-Ayoubi Cherki representing Algeria will participate.
