An earthquake of magnitude 3.1 was recorded on the Richter scale at 8:45 am in the province of Tissemsilt, according to a statement from the Center for Astronomy and Astrophysical Physics and Geophysics.
The epicenter was located 8 km northeast of Bordj El Emir Abdelkader city, Tissemsilt province.
