Four people died and 111 others were injured as a result of 103 traffic accidents in separate parts of the country during the last 24 hours, according to a toll reported today, Thursday, by the civil protection services.
The Civil Protection Units also recorded during the same period the death of a 48-year-old person who suffocated from carbon monoxide gas emitted from a fireplace inside his family residence in Tebessa, while first aid was provided to 8 people who suffocated from the same gas, including (5) five from the wilaya of Oran, two (2) from Medea, and another (1) from the wilaya of Tebessa.
The same services also intervened in order to extinguish urban fires that caused the injury of six (6) people from the wilaya of Medea and two others (2) from Jijel with various burns.
