Civil Protection last statement reported that during the last 48 hours 15 dead and 330 injured in road accidents in several provinces of the country.
The same source reported 71 forest fires that led to the burning of 792 hectares of forests, 385 hectares of bushes, 1215 hectares of grass, 30 hectares of wheat, 4060 hay packs, 33460 fruit trees and 21 palm trees”.
In the same regard, the statement stressed that Civil Protection services are ” in full swing in order to extinguish 29 forests fires that are still raging in Tizi Ouzou province (6), Bejaia (5), Jijel (4), Taref (4), and two fires (2) in Setif, as well as one fire (1) in Ain Edfla, Bouira, Annaba, Guelma, Tebessa, Skikda, Tiaret and Medea provinces”.
Civil Protection also reiterated that “all material and human means are mobilized on all fronts to put out these fires with the assistance if air means support”
