Africa Champions League: JS Kabylie beats Petro Atlético (1-0), qualifies for the quarter-finals

Algeria JS Kabylie beats Angola’s Petro Atletico by a score of 1-0 at half-time on Saturday night at the Stade 5 Juillet (Algiers) in the fifth and penultimate round of the CAF Champions League, group A.

The winning goal was scored by Dadi Mouaki (90′) for JSK. With this precious victory, JSK secures its ticket to the quarter-finals.

At the end of the fifth day, JS Kabylie is in first position in group A with 10 points.

Angola’s Petro Atletico and AS Vita of Congo are the other two sides with four points.

On Friday, CR Belouizdad, the other Algerian team in the Champions League, booked their place in the quarter-finals by beating Zamalek of Egypt 2-0 at the Stade 5 Juillet.

CRB’s goals were scored by Zakaria Draoui (75th) and Lwanba Djoufou (79th).

The Belouizdadis will travel to Tunisia on the final day to face ES Tunis, already qualified, to fight for the first place in group D.

The top two teams in each group qualify for the quarter-finals.
