The national football team of Mozambique arrived today, on Friday to Algeria, to participate in the 2022 African Football Championship (postponed to 2023) in Algeria, from January 13 to February 4.
The delegation of Mozambique was received at Houari Boumediene international airport by the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, Rachid Oukali and his deputy, Dr. Yacine Ben Hamza, in addition to the member of the Federal Office of the Algerian Football Federation, Hakim Medane.
Oukali announced on Thursday, during a press conference, that several teams will come to Algeria at an early date. Ghana will arrive in Algeria on Tuesday, January 3, while the rest of the teams are expected to arrive on January 9, 10 and 11.”
Mozambique is in Group A, which will play in Baraki (the capital), along with Algeria, Libya and Ethiopia.
