The delegation of the Ghanaian national football team arrived today, Thursday, in Constantine, ahead of its participation in the African Nations Championship for local players (CHAN 2022), which Algeria will host from January 13 to February 4, 2023.
The Ghanaian sports delegation, which consists of 40 members, was received in the VIP lounge of Mohamed Boudiaf International Airport with a great welcome by the province’s director of youth and sports, and the head of the local competition organization, before heading to a hotel in the municipality of Al-Kharroub.
The head of the Ghanaian delegation, showed “admiration for the warm welcome,” adding that “the matches that will bring together the teams of Group C will not be easy,” and expressed wish to play the Algerian national team, which he considers “good,” in the final match.
The Ghanaian national team is competing in Group C, and its first match will be against Madagascar on January 15 at Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine.
