African Judo Championship: Algerian national team in Tunisia for preparation

Algerian national judo team (men and women), now in Annaba, will travel to the Tunisian capital this evening, Sunday, to start a two-day training session before heading to Dakar, Senegal, to participate in the African qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2022.

The Algerian national judo team is participating in the African championship held from 20 to 23 May 2021, which is considered a stop to assess the fortunes of the wrestlers’ qualification for the Olympic Games in the summer of 2021 and postponed to 2022 due to the emerging Corona virus.

And according to the official page of the Algerian Judo Federation, the Algerian national team landed this morning at Rabah Bittat Airport in the city of Annaba, before embarking on a new trip on Sunday evening to Tunisia for preparation to participate in the African championship in Dakar.

The Algerian delegation will also have PCR examination, before entering into the preparatory training.
