The Algerian national football team tied with its Sierra Leone counterpart (0-0) today, Tuesday, at Japoma Stadium in Douala, Cameroon as part of the first round of Group E of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
For the same group, Côte d’Ivoire will face its counterpart from Equatorial Guinea on Wednesday at 20:00 in Douala.
In the second round scheduled for next Sunday, Cote d’Ivoire will face its contender Sierra Leone (00 h 17), while Algeria will play Equatorial Guinea at eight o’clock in the evening.
It is worth noting that the first and second teams, in addition to the four best third-placed teams, qualify for the quarterfinals.
