Algeria Cycling Tour-2023: Start of the 7th stage Constantine-Skikda, with 79 riders

The 7th stage of Algeria Cycling Tour (ACT-2023), the shortest one, started on Monday and will lead the 79 riders over a distance of 83.6km.

Three riders have withdrawn from the Constantine-Skikda stage. They are the Iraqis Tuayen Abdullah and Al Rikabi Ahmed and the Irish rider Luuk Schuurmans, winner of the 5th stage.

After these withdrawals, the total number of riders who have retired since the beginning of the Tour reached 14.

The day before, during the 6th stage run over 129,4 km between Sétif and Constantine, the Algerian cyclist, Nassim Saidi, from the regional Madar team had won this stage.
