Algerian national team will face its Swedish counterpart on November 19 in Malmo

The Algerian national football team will face its Swedish counterpart in a friendly match, on Saturday, November 19 at the “Elidia Stadium” in Malmo at (20:30 Algeria time), according to a statement published on Wednesday by the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) on its official website.

The Swedish team, ranked 25th in the FIFA ranking published on October 6, failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar (November 20 – December 18), similar to its Algerian counterpart.

Before the Algeria match, Sweden will play another friendly match against Mexico on Wednesday (November 16th) at Girona Stadium, Spain.

The Algerian national team has faced its Swedish counterpart on four occasions, the last of which dates back to the nineties in Algeria, with a score of 1-1.
