Bab El-Oued security forces in Algiers managed to arrest 7 suspects, while seizing more than 12 kg of cannabis, according to a press release issued by the General Directorate of National Security on Thursday.
In this regard, the same source explained, “The case, which took place under the permanent supervision of the regionally competent prosecution, enabled the police to arrest seven (7) suspects, including three (3) women between the age of 30 and 60 years, with the seizing of more than (12) kg of cannabis, in addition to (29) tablets of psychotropic substances, a sum of 39,500 dinars, which is considered as promotional proceeds, and (7) mobile phones, in addition to a tourist car.”
The same communiqué indicated that “After completing all legal procedures, the suspects will be presented before the competent regional prosecution.”
