The security services of the province of Algiers, in a statement issued today, Tuesday, appealed to each person who has fallen victim to the so-called “Fouad Abboud”, the suspect in the case of fraud via the social media “Facebook”, to come to the nearest police headquarters in order to file a complaint, testify or submit Information about the suspect.
According to the text of Article 17 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and pursuant to the permission issued by the Public Prosecutor at the Court of El Harrach, the security services of the provice of Algiers learned that “Fouad Abboud” was arrested in the case of fraud through “Facebook”.
The communiqué stated that the suspect had used his account to manage and run several virtual groups to trap his victims looking for financial funding and consumer facilitating loans.
Accordingly, the security services of the province of Algiers put at the disposal of citizens the phone number (023.72.03.66) for each purpose that is useful to the investigation.
