The Algerian national under-20 football team qualified for the Arab Cup of Nations 2021 semi-final, thanks to a victory over Morocco on penalty kicks (4-3), after the match ended in a draw (1-1), the first half (0-1), in a round of the quarterfinals, yesterday, Tuesday, at the Cairo International Stadium in Egypt.
The two goals of the match were scored by Mohamed Redid (29 PK) for Morocco and Sami Mahour (90 + 3) for “The Greens”. During the penalty shootout, Algerian goalkeeper Akram Ounass managed to block two penalty kicks of Moroccan players, giving the ticket to the golden square for Algeria. .
Thus, the cubs of the national coach, Mohamed Lassat, will face in the semi-finals, the qualifier of the Tunisia-Comoros island match, scheduled for Wednesday (18:00) Algeria time.
The semi-final match will take place next Saturday at (18:00).
