A 27-year-old person died in a violent collision between a bus and a tourist vehicle in the province of Ain Al-Touta in the province of Batna, according to the contact cell of Civil Protection Directorate.
The accident occurred, according to the same source, yesterday evening, in the municipality of Tilato, on the National Road No. 28, which links the provinces of Batna and Msila, and it was caused by a violent collision between a bus, operating on Batna – Sidi Bel Abbes line, and a tourist vehicle.
The source pointed out that the accident did not leave any injuries among the passengers on board of the bus, while it caused serious injuries to the driver of the car, who later died in the hospital from his injuries.
The concerned authorities opened an investigation to find out the circumstances of the accident, the source adds, noting that the toll of traffic accidents rose across the province in the last 24 hours, resulting in the death of 3 people and the injury of a fourth.
