Belmadi: The friendly matches against Mali and Sweden will be very useful for the national team

National football team coach Djamel Belmadi said Sunday in Algiers that the two friendly matches against Mali on Wednesday 16 November at the Miloud-Hadefi stadium in Oran (8.30 p.m.) and Sweden on Saturday 19 of the same month, at the Eleda Stadium in Malmo, constitute “a very good opportunity for the greens”.

Speaking of the call-up of Mehdi Leiris, player of the Italian club of Sampdoria (group A), Belmadi said he was enthusiastic about the idea of ​​discovering the defensive qualities of this player who evolved in France before leaving “very young” to Italy.

Regarding striker of CR Belouizdad, Karim Aribi, the national coach indicated that “he is expecting a lot from his development in the national team”.

The national coach selected 24 players for the next Green training course and the two friendly matches against Mali and Sweden.

The list is marked by the call-up of novice Mehdi Leris, player of the Italian formation of Sampdoria (group A), as well as the return of goalkeeper Rais M’bolhi and striker Said Benrahma.

Menwhile, several players present during the training of last September do not appear in the new list, namely Bedrane (Damac FC / Saudi Arabia), Zedadka (LOSC Lille / France), Mrezigue (CR Belouizdad / Algeria) called in the National Team A’, Brahimi (OGC Nice/ France) and Delors (OGC Nice).
