Civil protection set up a security plan to prevent traffic accidents

The Directorate General of Civil Protection has set up a security plan to prevent traffic accidents with the aim of securing roads that face huge traffic jam, as part of its efforts for securing the starting of the school year 2021-2022, said a statement of the civil protection.

“As part of 2021-2022 school year, the Directorate General of civil protection is developing a security plan for school starting without traffic accidents, with the aim of systematically securing roads that are known for traffic density and traffic jam, especially in urban areas and black spots where accidents are frequently happening, a plan that requires strengthening the human resources for the intervention of Civil Protection Units in order to respond to the various calls for assistance” added the same source.

The same source added that “prevention and awareness of parents, considered as the first educators, in traffic safety for their children from various dangers related to traffic accidents is a priority for the Directorate General of civil protection.”
