Rains, sometimes in the form of thunderstorms accompanied locally by hail and gusts of wind, will affect several wilayas in the west and the center of the country under thunderstorms from Monday afternoon, indicates a special weather report issued by the services of the National Office of Meteorology (ONM).
The wilayas initially concerned by this Orange vigilance level report are Sidi Bel Abbes, Mascara, Relizane, Chlef, Ain Defla, Tissemsilt, Tiaret and Saida, where the estimated quantities will vary between 20 and 40 mm during the validity of the weather special report which runs from Monday at 4:00 p.m. to Tuesday at 6:00 a.m.
The wilayas of Médéa, Blida, Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdes, Tizi-Ouzou and Bouira are also affected by these rains, whose forecast quantities are estimated between 20 and 40 mm, and this from Monday at 9:00 p.m. to Tuesday at 9:00 a.m., specifies the same source.
