Injury keeps Attal out of stadiums for three or four weeks

Algerian right-back, Youcef Attal, suffers from a muscle injury he sustained during the match that opposed his club Nice against the guest Montpellier (0-1 defeat), yesterday, Sunday, for the 13th round of the French Football League, coach Christophe Galtier said.

Galtier said that “due to a muscle injury, Attal will be out of the stadiums for a period of three or four weeks,”.

After the Nice coach, Christophe Galtier, made him play as a basic player in the match against Montpellier, the Algerian international left the pitch suffering from an injury, leaving his place to his Swiss colleague Jordan Lutumba in the 58th minute of the match.

The injury prompted the national coach, Djamel Belmadi, to replace him, in anticipation of the match against Djibouti on Friday (14:00) in Cairo, before hosting Burkina Faso, on Tuesday, November 16 at the Mustapha Tchaker Stadium in Blida (17:00), for the sixth and final match of the second round of the first group of world Cup qualifiers.

According to the specialized website, “DZ Foot”, Youcef Attal will be replaced by Hocine Ben Ayada, who plays in the Tunisian coastal star.

After four matches of World Cup qualifiers, Algeria and Burkina Faso share the lead with 10 points, while Niger is in the third row with 3 points and Djibouti is lagging behind with zero points.
