Mujahid, member of the National Liberation Army, Okabe Bachir, passes away

The late Mujahid member of the National Liberation Army, Okabe Bachir, died at the age of 94. The deceased was born in 1928 in Ghazaouet, Tlemcen Province. He grew up in a conservative family that adheres to national principles and values.

The deceased is considered one of the first generation who joined the ranks of the Liberation Revolution in 1955 as a platoon leader. He also participated in many military operations as a member of the second region in the historic fifth state with the rank of lieutenant, and in 1957 he joined the Western base until 1962.

In the face of this great affliction, the Minister of Mujahideen and Rights-holders, Mr. Laid Rebigua, addressed the family of the deceased and his comrades in the revolution, with the most sincere condolences, asking the Almighty to bless his soul with the vastness of his mercy.
