A group of artists held an artistic evening yesterday, Sunday in Algiers as part of the 11th edition of the national cultural festival for Chaabi song, during which the large audience who attended the concert recalled the creative genius of the late Mahboub Safar Bati.
This evening took place at Ibn Zaydoun Hall in Riad Al-Fath, which has hosted this demonstration since last August 10, where an audience attended the movement to commemorate the memory of the late artist and one of the pillars of the popular song, Mahboub Safar Bati (1919-2000).
The 11th Chaâbi Song Festival ends on Monday, with the closing program featuring singers Tarek Difli (Constantine), Yacine Lounici (Ain Defla), Hakim El Ankis, Kamel Aziz and Abdelkader Chaou from Algiers, as well as the declamation of a melhoun poetry that Kamel Cherchar presents.
