One person died and 67 others were injured in various traffic accidents that occurred across several provinces of the country, during the last 24 hours, according to what was stated today, Thursday, by the Civil Protection services.
During the same period, Civil Protection services were called to rescue 24 people suffering from difficulties and shortness of breath as a result of inhaling carbon monoxide, emitted from various heating devices and water heaters in Adrar, Batna, Setif, Annaba and Bordj Bou Arreridj.
As for activities related to the prevention from the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19), the same services across the national territory carried out 15 awareness-raising operations for the benefit of citizens, urging them and reminding them of the need to respect quarantine rules as well as social distancing, in addition to carrying out 9 sterilization operations across public facilities and structures, especially, apartment complexes and streets.
