One person was killed and another was injured in a traffic accident in Ain Temouchent due to a truck which derailed and hit a tree, according to a statement issued Friday by the local civil protection services.
The accident occurred yesterday on Thursday evening, on National Road No. 101 in its section linking the municipalities of Oued Barkach and Hammam Bouhdjer in the province of Ain Temouchent, after a truck derailed from its normal path and collided with a tree at the edge of the road, as highlighted by the same source.
The accident resulted in the truck driver receiving a shock and the death of his 34-year-old companion on the spot, according to the civil protection services.
