The activities of the fifth edition of the National Cultural Festival for Women’s Literature and Cinema in its fifth edition concluded on a happy note at the regional theater.
The closing ceremony was marked by the presence of an important constellation of Algerian women of the seventh art and creators of poetic and narrative art who starred in the city throughout the days of the festival, and who contributed to the success of the edition of this important artistic event that revealed the great role that Algerian women play in their society and their effective contribution in promoting the culture and intellectual heritage of the country.
During the ceremony, the Wali of Saïda, Ahmed Boudouh, revealed the identity of the film crowned with the golden anklet during the fifth edition, which went to the movie “Life Beyond” for the best feature-length film show chosen by the audience from among the films participating in the National Festival for Women’s Literature and Cinema. Actress Lydia Laarini received the honor on behalf of the team Film production.
In a speech, the governor of Saida called on all the actors in the cultural field to the necessity of actual investment in the cultural and artistic aspect and to work together to make Saida a pole of art and culture.
For his part, the festival’s governor, Belkacem Moulay, confirmed to the media present that the Saida Festival has become a tradition that the province of Saida is proud of and will become stronger in the future and a gain for the creativity of Algerian women in the fields of literature and cinema. He also thanked the Minister of Culture and Arts for all the support and follow-up that the festival has received.
