Tebessa: 1,300 public rental housing units will be distributed “early next year” in the state capital

1,301 public rental housing units will be distributed “at the beginning of next year (2023)” in the province of Tebessa , more particularly in the new urban pole “El Doukan” in the state capital, according to a statement issued today, Wednesday, by the governor of the province.

In this context, the same official indicated, during the proceedings of the fourth regular session of the People’s State Assembly, that the works of these housing units, preparing them and linking them to various networks and completing roads has been totally completed, indicating that the nominal lists of beneficiaries are currently subject to an audit process before they are published in the “earliest deadlines” and the keys will be handed over “early next year.”

The same official stated that during the current year, about 8 thousand housing units of various formats were distributed across several municipalities in the state, adding that 1,600 plots of land intended for self-construction were also distributed across a number of municipalities.

During the proceedings of the fourth regular session of the People’s Assembly, which lasts for two days, the extent of implementation of the instructions issued during the previous sessions related to the housing and health sectors was discussed, and the state’s initial budget for the year 2023 was approved, in addition to discussing the youth and sports sector.
