A special bulletin from the National Meteorological Office reported that thunderstorms are to be expected in several provinces in the east of the country, starting from Wednesday evening.
The provinces concerned with this bulletin, which were placed under “orange” alert level, are Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Constantine, Guelma and Souk Ahras, according to the same source, adding that the expected rainfall amounts range from 20 to 30 mm and may reach or exceed 40 mm locally during the period. The validity of this bulletin extends from nine PM (21:00) until Thursday at nine o’clock AM (09:00).
