27 people died and 1,098 others were injured in 958 traffic accidents that occurred in separate parts of the country during the period from 20 to 26 November, according to a toll reported by the civil protection services, today, Tuesday.
The source pointed out that the heaviest death toll was recorded in the wilaya of Tizi Ouzou, with the death of 3 people and the injury of 28 others, following the occurrence of 26 traffic accidents.
During the same period, civil protection units put out 605 domestic, industrial and various other fires, most of which were recorded in the provinces of Algiers (107), Oran (45) and Blida (30).
