Two people were killed and 151 others were injured, of varying severity, in several traffic accidents that occurred in separate parts of the country during the last 24 hours, according to what was reported today, Sunday, by the Civil Protection Department.
The same source stated that, during the same period, the civil protection units made interventions to provide first aid to 16 people who suffocated from carbon monoxide gas leaking from various heating appliances across many provinces of the country, and the victims were taken care of on the spot and transferred to local hospital services.
Civil protection services also intervened to put out four 04 urban fires in various provinces, without recording human losses.
