The civil protection agents of the province of Djelfa recovered, on Friday evening, the bodies of two drowned people from inside an open water pond in the municipality of El Medjbara (south of Djelfa), according to the communication cell of the same services.
The media officer at the Directorate of Civil Protection said that the bodies belong to a 12-year-old girl and a 40-year-old man who was trying to save the first victim.
The two victims were transferred to the mortuary department of the Mujahid “Mahad Abdelkader” Hospital in the city of Djelfa, according to the same source.
