The Minister of Youth and Sports, Abderrazak Sebgag, and his Nigerien counterpart, Adamo Seko Doro, examined in Niamey “ways and means to develop and strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of youth and sports, in addition to several other files of common interest, at the invitation of Niger sport minister” said Tuesday a statement from the ministry.
The working meeting between the two ministers was held on Monday, the day after Mr Sebgag’s arrival in Niamey to attend the return match between the national football teams of the two countries, as part of Qatar-2022 World Cup qualifiers.
The Minister of Youth and Sports reiterated to his Nigerian counterpart his invitation to take part in the meeting of African ministers of the sector, scheduled for next November in Algiers.
