The first International Laboratory and Medical Imaging Exhibition (ImLab) will be held from October 26 to 29 at Pins Maritimes Exhibition Center in Algiers (Safex), with the participation of nearly 140 Algerian and foreign companies, said Wednesday a press release from the organizers.
Organized under the high patronage of the Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, the event will allow professionals in the field to discover the latest in laboratory equipment and medical imaging, according to the same source.
Several workshops and conferences are planned on the occasion of this event which aims in particular to encourage national investment in this field.
“These high-tech products require a complete environment for efficient operation in terms of equipment, laboratories, analysis solutions and single-use products, but also technical skills for its installation and maintenance, with the implementation of special programs and devices and the training of laboratory and medical imaging personnel in addition to professions relating to medical diagnosis”, specifies the same source.
As for the scientific aspect of the exhibition, the organizers are planning thirteen presentations, 5 training workshops and two meetings during which the latest innovations in imaging will be presented.
