Minister of Health receives members of the Algerian Union of Paramedics

 

The Minister of Health, Abdelhak Saihi, has received members of the Algerian Union of Paramedics, as part of the dialogue with social partners that the central administration has reactivated based on the new road map for the sector and which is represented in the plan of activities for the benefit of the patient, according to a statement issued today, Friday, by the same ministry.

The statement indicated that during this meeting, which took place on Thursday, the health minister expressed “his will to solve the problems raised by the Union of Paramedics” noting that his services will examine them in a way that “serves the professional and social status” of the sector’s employees in general and the paramedics in particular.

On the occasion, Mr. Saihi reaffirmed “the need to adopt the principle of dialogue as a mechanism for solving problems in health structures,” calling on the managers of health directorates and the directors of health structures affiliated to them to “work in accordance with this principle to develop the health sector, especially since dialogue is the main tool for solving all problems”.

In the same context – the statement adds – the minister also stressed the “significant” role played by the paramedical staff in improving the performance of health structures.
