Health Minister Abdelhak Saihi held a meeting with a delegation from the National Union of Medical Auxiliaries in Public Health Anesthesia and Resuscitation (SNAMARSP), said a ministry statement on Monday.
During this meeting held on Sunday, the Minister of Health noted “the importance of responsible dialogue with the social partners at all levels, with a view to strengthening and improving the management of public health, particularly in view of the great interest accorded by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune to this sector”.
In this regard, Mr. Saïhi listened to the demands of the members of the union, essentially linked to “the revision of the name, the creation of a higher normal school, the exact definition of the real missions of the body in accordance with the requirements on the ground, and the guarantee of legal protection and professional identity in accordance with the statute of the body”.
The Minister affirmed, in this context, his support for the “claims raised”, underlining “the need to seize the opportunity of the revision of the statutes governing health to enrich them in coordination with the competent commission, in the best interests of the personnel of the sector and the patient,” the statement added.
After recalling the satisfaction of several demands, the Minister of Health called on SNAMARSP to speed up “the publication of the nomenclature of this category in its statute”.
This meeting between the first manager of the sector and the union delegation, led by Mohamed Amine Bendali, took place in “an atmosphere marked by sincerity and credibility”, concludes the same source.
